Crockpot Chicken Parm πŸ‹

πŸ‹Since the beginning of the week I had been eyeing this recipe that kept popping up on my Pinterest page.  Crockpot Chicken Parm.  I have made a lot of things in my crockpot,  but never thought to do chicken parm!  After looking at a few different recipe options, I came up with my own.  Its super easy and was a huge hit with my family!  The only thing I had to prepare at dinner time was the spaghetti noodles, garlic bread, and a side salad.  Yum!!!

Crockpot Chicken Parm

Ingredients:
3-5 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 cup Italian bread crumbs
1/2 cup parm cheese (plus more to add to each serving)
2 eggs, beaten
I jar pasta sauce
Slices of provolone cheese
Shredded mozzarella cheese
1 box of spaghetti noodles, cooked as directed

What to do:
1. Spray the inside of your crockpot with cooking spray.
2. You will need two shallow bowls/dishes.  In one dish, mix the bread crumbs and parm cheese together.  In the other dish,  beat the eggs. Dip the chicken in the egg mixture and then the crumb mixture and turn to coat.  Add chicken to the crockpot as you go.
3. Once all the chicken is arranged in the crockpot, top each piece with a slice of provolone cheese.
4. Cover with pasta sauce and cook on low for 8 hours.  With a half hour left of cooking time,  add the shredded mozzarella cheese, cover, and let melt!
5.  Serve the chicken over cooked spaghetti noodles or your favorite pasta!  I served mine with homemade garlic bread and a side salad.

Below I'm posting pictures to show some of the process.  I'm not a "photograph every single step" kinda girl but I do make sure I have the key points for you!

I hope this recipe inspires you to try making it for your family!   Thanks for checking out my recipe and don't forget to follow me over at full_of_lemons on Instagram!  πŸ‹
