Boys, Pumpkins, and Chicken Pot Pie 🥧 🎃🍁
Yesterday, we took our three boys to the pumpkin farm for some Fall fun!! In which it was fun until it started raining and everyone grabbed their pumpkins and made a beeline for the checkout. We spent some time petting the goats, pigs, and chickens at the petting zoo exhibit, walked through a kid friendly haunted house, made a scarecrow, climbed through underground tunnels, climbed on tractor tires, pony rides, corn maze, a hay ride, and found the perfect pumpkins for our front porch. (To be carved later...) The boys loved getting dirty and we didn't mind. Boys will be boys! Early yesterday morning I threw 4 pounds of chicken breasts in the crockpot with some vegetable broth, chicken stock, salt, pepper, natures seasonings, and a few other spices and seasonings.
