Saving Money...My Secret Weapon π
πBeing a homemaker, I love finding ways to make my own money or ways to help my family save money. My husband is definitely the bread winner (no pun intended...but he is a bread delivery guy) but being able to be home with the boys has definitely helped during these quarantine months. Even before this pandemic I've always had a secret weapon to use when trying to save money on groceries. One way is to write or email companies and asking if they have any coupons to give away or new products coming out. Most of them do and will send you some coupons in the mail. One of my favorite companies to contact is Johnsonville Sausage because we love to use their italian sausage products. All i did was email the company and let them know we love their products and ask if they have any coupons available to help cut costs. Not only did they send me two coupons, but they sent me a letter thanking me for using their products and invited me to contact them again in a few months for more savings!

Over the years this has kind of turned into a hobby of mine. A few other favorite companies to write to are McCormick spices and HERRS chips! We live near the HERRS chip factory and visit yearly to see their Christmas light display.

If you're looking for a fun way to save money for your family, this might be a fun way for you to make it into a family fun activity! Have the kids write letters to Crayola and tell them how much fun they have with their products...guaranteed they might just get a fun surprise back in the mail!

Have you ever written to companies for coupons?
